I don’t agree with the whole “big is beautiful” movement, and it’s not just because I’m skinny. For one thing, while a slight plumpness in a woman can indicate health, once your dress sizes go up into double digits, it’s a sign of the exact opposite. V magazine just did a “Size Issue” showing plus sized models in skimpy clothing (and apparently no clothing at all in some pics!). There was even a shoot where a plus-sized model wore the same outfit as a thin model, to “show that they’re both beautiful.” It didn’t look beautiful to me, even after the photo shopping. The skinny model looked good. The plus-sized model looked like a fat girl trying to wear skinny-girl clothes.
If you’re overweight, fine, that’s your deal, but don’t try to act like you’re not. Don’t wear tight shirts and mini-skirts and think you look just as good as the size 0-2 people who those outfits were designed for.

That’s exactly what I thought when I saw the 2 girls! It just doesn’t look right on the fat girl!
